I just read about one of those tragedies that should have been very, very preventable if only this country worked harder on providing coverage for the poor. A young man in Maryland died due to a brain infection that was the result of a tooth abscess.

A lot of things have been outsourced over these past several years. My oldest sister lost a programming job to outsourcing, so you can’t argue to me that it’s only basic jobs such as customer service being sent outside the country. Jobs in the computer and engineering fields are being outsourced regularly.

I’m not too happy about this one. Gardasil, the new vaccine against the STD that can cause cervical cancer, is being pushed hard as something that girls should be required to get by state law at age 11 or 12.
