Attorney General Alberto Gonzales has proposed a law that would make even attempted copyright infringement would mean facing severe penalties. I don’t just mean jail time; the proposal would include penalties similar to what they do for drug offenses.

I became aware of the Blog Against Theocracy blogswarm earlier today and just had to participate. It has long seemed to me that evangelicals have been trying to move the United States in that direction, and more recently have been making headway with willing politicians.
